Planning your visit

Which pets do you currently groom?

Snout Spa currently provides house-call grooming for dogs and rabbits. Cat and guinea pig services are not available yet.

Which parts of Singapore do you visit?

Coverage is confirmed using your postal code or area when you send a booking request. This allows us to consider travel and appointment timing before confirming the visit.

How do I make a booking?

Complete the guided booking request with your pet’s breed, service, coat and behaviour details. The request opens in WhatsApp, where suitable service, final pricing, coverage and timing can be confirmed.

Is my booking confirmed immediately?

No. The form sends a booking request rather than reserving an automatic slot. Your appointment is confirmed only after Snout Spa has reviewed the details and agreed the service, price, date and visit arrangements with you.

Pricing and timing

How is the final price calculated?

Published prices are guides based on pet size or coat type and the selected service. Matting, undercoat, coat condition, temperament and additional handling time may affect the final quote. Any variable care should be discussed before the appointment is confirmed.

Is there a house-call fee?

Yes. A S$30 house-call fee applies in addition to grooming services.

How long will grooming take?

Express grooming may take around 30 minutes, while basic and full grooms can take from approximately one to three hours. Coat condition, behaviour and the chosen service all affect timing.

Comfort and safety

Can you care for a nervous or first-time pet?

Please tell us about previous grooming experiences and known sensitivities. Visits are paced around the individual pet, with comfort and safe handling taking priority over rushing to complete a style.

Do you groom senior pets?

Senior pets are considered individually. Share their age, mobility, medical conditions and handling needs before booking so the visit can be assessed and adapted appropriately.

What if my pet becomes too distressed?

Grooming may be adjusted, paused or discontinued when continuing would not be safe or kind. Snout Spa will discuss what was possible and the most suitable next step with you.

Is grooming a substitute for veterinary care?

No. Grooming supports hygiene and coat care but does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Concerns that may need veterinary attention should be discussed with your veterinarian.

Preparing your home

What should I prepare?

The exact setup will be confirmed before your appointment. A safe working area and clear access help the visit run smoothly. Tell us about space limitations, building access or anything else that may affect the setup.

What information should I share in advance?

Please share coat condition, matting, skin or ear concerns, injuries, medical conditions, mobility limitations, previous grooming difficulties and any biting or unpredictable behaviour.

Can I ask for a particular cut?

Yes. Describe the style in your request and share a reference image through WhatsApp. The final recommendation will also consider coat condition, maintenance needs and your pet’s comfort.

Still unsure?

Tell us what your pet needs.

Share their coat, temperament and care notes and we’ll help you choose the suitable next step.
